SIMPLE AND LOCAL

Extract archive files in three steps.

Your archive opens directly in browser memory. If it has a password, that password is used only on this device.

01

Choose an archive

Drop a RAR, ZIP, 7Z, TAR or another supported archive format.

02

Let your browser open it

libarchive.js and the official UnRAR WASM engine run inside separate Web Workers.

03

Save files your way

Download one by one, bundle as ZIP or preserve folders on disk.

Multi-part .part1.rar archives are not supported. Direct folder extraction works in Chromium-based browsers over a secure connection.
BUILT FOR EVERYDAY ARCHIVES

One private extractor for RAR, ZIP, 7Z and TAR.

RAR Extractor combines broad archive support with local browser processing. Use it for RAR4 and RAR5 files, password-protected RAR archives, ZIP packages, 7Z bundles, TAR files and common compressed formats such as GZIP, BZ2 and XZ.

Can I extract RAR files online without uploading them?

Yes. The archive is processed locally in your browser with WebAssembly. Neither the archive nor its extracted files are sent to a server.

Does it open password-protected RAR files?

Yes. Enter the password after selecting the archive. It stays on your device and is passed only to the local extraction engine.

Are RAR5 archives supported?

Yes. The extractor supports both RAR4 and RAR5, alongside ZIP, 7Z, TAR, GZIP, BZ2 and XZ archives.

Can I extract large RAR files?

Large files depend on available device memory. Safety limits help prevent archive bombs and reduce the risk of browser crashes.
